We ate one less
Sunday we bought 1kg of live prawns from Giant for dinner. And hb was just like a little boy, so excited when we got home. Took out two big containers, one for those still alive and one for the dead prawns. While I was busy preparing food in the kitchen, he was happily playing with his prawns, counting the number of prawns that were still active and fussing over the temperature of the water. After a while he knew he was in my way, we have a small kitchen. So he deicded to leave the prawns to keep me company while he get himself occupied with xbox.
His prawns were sure to not let me feel lonely. While I was washing the vegetables and chopping the ingredients, I gotta constantly stop to pick them up from the floor or the sink. I guess they think they're still in the boat and if they jump high enough they'll end up in the sea. So it was an afternoon of acrobatic stunt for the prawns and some bending exercise for me.
They were delicious, just have to not think about them keeping me company in the afternoon.
On Monday, we smell some stench in the kitchen, and I assume it's the water that were splahing all over the floor by the praws, so I mopped the floor, but we still smell the stench, so I mopped again. But the stench just won't go away. So I did a thorough search and found a deasd prawn in a corner of the kitchen hidden. This guy sure can jump. No more stench in the kitchen after we removed it. But we ate one less prawn the night before.

hahaha the psychology of prawns. I guess you are right in saying the jumping prawns are trying to get into sea.
