Updates

I'm such a lousy blogger, been 3 months since my last entry. Not that I'm too busy to come in, but I just decided to use my time for other things.

Moving House
I've moved in with my inlaws since 27 Aug. To my suprise the move and unpacking was not too difficult. (Of course there's some hiccups, but still it's smooth) And up till nbow, my stay with inlaws has been a pleasant one. Although I miss the privacy, my freedom is not totally lost. Now we're really living with our bare essentials as most of our stuff are still in boxes. We now occupied the master bedroom, with our washing machine in our toilet, the store room is also full of stuff for our baby. The other bedroom is used to store all our boxes. "Incredible, how can 2 person have so much things?" Was what mu MIL said when we first moved in. Well, I don't know, but Roy and I are just good at accumulating things...I'm focused, clothes and shoes, he's got diverse interest...crytals, skii, blading shoes, bowling balls, golfing items, etc. But we manage to organise everything neatly (if one is not too strict with the definition.) I can say I'm not comfortable and happy staying here, was even secretly thinking that I don't mind letting inlaws stay with us in future...(many of my friends who had warn me about moving in with inlaws will think I'm crazy.) However, after seeing how MIL & FIL likes to accumulate things too, I'm having second thoughts. MIL likes to buy extra pots, toasters, etc for the kitchen (like me she's focused). FIL is just like Roy, diverse in his collections, fish tank, majong tables, etc. So I think it's difficult to have these 2 couples under one roof, unless we have a BIG BIG BUNGLOW (which is beyond Roy and me, so guess I'll just drop the idea...shall not even mention it to Roy.)

Baby's Development
So far she has been growing well. And I've been keeping my fingers crossed and dare not show too much joy. Yes, I'm afraid my joy will be robbed away from me again. Not trying to be paranoid, but once bitten, forever shy. Most of the things are ready, but I still need more time to be prepared for her birth. I hope she'll be good and stay put for at least 2 more wks. She's now 35wks 2 days, soon she'll be matured enough be be delivered. I think Roy is just as excited and happy to be a Father soon. The other day he came to the bedroom to drag me to the yard and told me to inhale the fragrance of the baby clothes. The fragrance of happiness filled the air...The entire house smells of you, Baby. We can sense your presence already, you're already veyr much a part of our life. We're anxious to welcome you, yet we aslo want you to spend more time to grown stronger and healthier before we cuddle you in our arms.
